Ryan Thompson serves as the Director of Service Operations at CIO Technology Solutions, a Tampa-based managed IT services and cybersecurity provider known for helping organizations modernize, secure, and streamline their technology. In his role, Ryan works closely with clients, engineering teams, and leadership to ensure communication is clear, expectations are aligned, and every engagement delivers a consistent, high-quality experience.

He plays an active role in process design, project oversight, service escalations, and long-term technology planning, making him a central point of accountability and advocacy for CIO Technology Solutions’ clients.

Growing up in a military family, Ryan learned the values of discipline, service, and reliability early in life. His father served in the U.S. Air Force and his mother supported the mission as a civil service employee. That foundation shapes Ryan’s structured, mission-driven approach to leadership and client management.

Before joining CIO Technology Solutions, Ryan held multiple IT support, management, and customer-facing roles across the Tampa Bay area. These experiences developed his ability to bridge the gap between technology and people, translating complex challenges into clear, actionable solutions that drive business growth and reduce risk.

Outside of work, Ryan is a House Music DJ active in the St. Petersburg scene, an avid saltwater fisherman, and a passionate aviation and military history enthusiast. Whether he is refining a client process, managing a project, or spinning a set, Ryan brings the same attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to excellence that define CIO Technology Solutions.
